Course structure and time schedule:-
Kandyan dancing (Description)
The basic dance moves
24 of the main traditional dance steps
Kandyan dancing (History)
Vannam – singing
Learning to dance perform of 5 “vannams” (traditional dancing)
The basic Knowlege in Drumming (Kandyan drum “Geta Bereya”)
Singing in (Vannam’s, Folk dance songs , Country dance songs)
Traditional dance for opening ceremonies (Mangalam)
Course Duration –
(Academic studies theory and practical) – Eight (8) Months – (Classes – once a week – four hours per day)
