Higher National Diploma in Nursing – NVQ Level 6 (Fee Levying)

Lanka Hospitals Academy offers the Higher National Diploma in General Nursing (NVQ Level 6) a three-year program, approved by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). Upon course completion, students will receive the internationally recognized NVQ Level 06 Nursing Qualification from TVEC. This comprehensive training program equips students to become qualified general nurses, eligible to join Lanka Hospitals as well as any private hospital and open pathways worldwide. The first year covers fundamental nursing principles, introductory subjects, and practical training. In the subsequent two years, students explore advanced nursing procedures through clinical and practical training at Lanka Hospitals. 

Enrollment Criteria

• Height – Minimum 4′ 10
• Passed the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination including English Language or certificate for English language or 
• Passed NVQ level 4 in Nursing/ G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination
